Drinking Around The World
Your Premier Resource For The Unofficial Event Known As "Drinking Around The World"
The Quest
To accomplish your mission, you start at whichever end you prefer, work your way around the entire World Showcase, and have a drink in every country.
The Countries
The full time "country" exhibits are: The United Kingdom, Canada, France, Morocco, Japan, The United States, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, and Mexico
Our Recommendations
As you enter The "World Showcase" the first country o the right is Canada, to the left is Mexico. If you are not in the mood for tequila first thing in the morning, you might not want to start with Mexico. Plus, Mexico has a great indoor boat ride and makes for a nice break in the middle of the day to get out of the sun. You do not have to go in any order. Feel free to walk past a few countries before starting.
Before and After
Be sure to take a picture of your group at the beginning of the day and at the end. The comparison will provide years of memories and laughs. We recommend a group pic in front of "the golf ball" (actually called Spaceship Earth) when you first arrive. You pick a fun place for your end of the night/ mission accomplished picture. There is an example in the photo gallery below.
Pace Yourself
It is a long day so try to stick to just one drink per country, especially in the beginning. Many people fail their mission because they are too excited in the beginning and do not pace themselves.
Remember It's Still Disney
Drinking Around The World is a lot of fun but remember it is still a Disney Park and a family atmosphere. Have fun, but don't get out of hand. Elsa is in Norway and she can turn you into ice.
What Is "Drinking Around The World"
This adult activity takes place inside the "World Showcase" section of Disney's Epcot Center. Remember, this is NOT a Disney endorsed activity.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to consume one drink from every country in the World Showcase. There are currently 11 full time "country" exhibits. Depending on the time of year there could be anywhere from 2-10 "pop up" countries. It's up to you if you want to count the "pop up" countries.
Don't forget to drink water throughout the day. Make some extra fun out of it and document each stop on your social media. Remember Epcot is a Disney property.
Buying that many drinks can get expensive so plan ahead. Bring money, sun screen, water (you are allowed to bring water into the parks) and cell phone chargers. Leave work, drama, negative people, and bad moods at the gate.
